Welcome to Natural Touch Salon, one of Waldorf, Maryland’s best ranked salon’s. My name is Ral Joyner and I have owned and operated Natural Touch since it began over twenty years ago. Our guests are our passion and the stylists here strive to deliver a unique experience each and every time. While we like to maintain the highest levels of professionalism and expertise, we also enjoy opening the doors for new stylists as well. We understand what it is like to be fresh out of college and nervous about starting out in this competitive industry. One thing that makes this salon different from others is our low monthly rent on salon chairs. Managing your own taxes and expenses is just one of many aspects that makes being a hairstylist difficult. We want our staff to succeed and we do that by keeping the costs down until you have collected a steady customer base. Depending on the kind of employment you are looking for, we might also consider hiring you on as an employee. There are prose and cons to both. As an employee you might make less starting out but all products are provided!
Each potential candidate will require to perform multiple haircuts and colors on personal guests. The interview is in two parts and will be overseen by yours truly. This is high stress but as a business we try to keep the atmosphere light and fun. If you meet or surpass our expectation you will then be notified and can choose between independent or employee status if both are available. Pay rates and dress code will be discussed after your first interview if you have been invited back for the second stage in our hiring process.
I began cutting hair from a young age and went to school and worked in New York, where the scene is cutthroat and unforgiving. I knew cosmetology was my true passion but wanted to bring something different to the table. That is why I created Natural Touch. I wanted an uplifting environment, full of positivity and encouragement. So, if you’re looking for a fresh start or a platform to jump off of, we’re it! To apply or inquire about available positions, go to the Contact Me page where you’ll find my email address. When sending inquiries, please include your name, address, phone number and email, as well as, any experience you have. Thanks for visiting and we look forward to meeting you!
Accepting applicants still in school if hours are met within a month of hire.
